CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati Bell has announced its “Santa Calls” program is back by popular demand. Users can schedule a free phone call from Santa customized with their child’s name and choose one of four holiday messages.

Since its launch in 2006, more than 400,000 Santa Calls have been placed. Calls from Santa are powered by OneCommand and are free of charge. Users can schedule a call online or from a smartphone to any home or mobile phone number with a 513, 859, 937, or 812 area code. Santa begins his message after the recipient says “Hello” with the chosen holiday message. For recipients who have Caller ID service, the call appears as though it's coming straight from the North Pole.

CINCINNATI,OH (FOX19) - On Memorial Day, The Det 3 Foundation is raffling off a 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo…it's a very nice car, and every penny raised goes to support soldiers and marines in combat units.  These men endure tremendous hardships every day, and money raised by Det 3 helps the troops with supplies and needs that are not provided by the military.

Imagine being far from home, all alone, fighting for your life and the freedom of your country, but never getting any letters or packages from home.  It's heartbreaking and more common than you think for American soldiers. 

DET 3 Foundation's mission is to make the lives of American soldiers overseas a bit brighter and to do the same for the children in the areas where troops are stationed.  DET 3 does this in two ways:
